Banners – Flyer – Posters
Banners: - A banner is a typically rectangular advertisement bearing a symbol, logo, slogan or other messages, placed on Websites, below or on the sides of the Website’s main content and is linked to the advertiser’s own Website. Banners also referred to as a banner ad. In the early days of the Internet, banners were ads with graphic images and text. Today, with technologies like Flash, banners have gotten much more complex and can be ads with animated graphics, sound and text. Most e-commerce-related Websites use banner ads.
We can set our banner as our Webpage HEADER as well!. Our page banner will be the first thing our visitor will see when they arrive at our website. If visitors are greeted with something that offers “visual recognition” consistent with our ad, visitor immediately know visitor have the right place and that we cared enough to follow through. Our page header banner is that all important that will leave an impression on our visitor.
Flyer: - A Flyer is a form of paper advertisement intended for wide distribution and typically posted or distributed in a public place or through the mail. Flyers are very popular for small scale advertising.
They are often, quite literally, throw-away because they are handed out at random or posted in public places in the hope they will be read. If they are intended to be posted, like on a bulletin board or put up in a window, they are printed on one side only. If they are going to be hand held or mailed, they can be printed on both sides. There is some disagreement on whether a flier and a flyer are the same thing.
Poster: - It is any piece of printed paper designed to be attached to a vertical surface or wall. Typically posters include both graphic and textual elements, although a poster may be either wholly text or wholly graphical. Posters are designed to be both informative and eye-catching. It may be used for many purposes. They are a frequent tool of advertisers (particularly of events, musicians and films) protestors, propagandists, and other groups trying to communicate a message. Posters are also used for particularly famous works, reproductions of artwork, and are generally low-cost compared to original artwork.
